Lost In Memories Of Summer Days

Nostalgia can be tricky. Some things in the past bring us joy and comfort. Others, not so much.

However, there is a sort of catharsis to looking back. After looking at the world around me so intently for years, I forgot how to look at myself. And when I did, I was intrigued by what I found. After digitizing childhood VHS tapes for a parent a few years ago, I was reminded of places long forgotten. I came across events that were just a shadow a moment before. Not quite ghosts, but for sure a room that hasn’t been visited in a while.

I have lived near the water most of my life and never realized how it influenced my entire being until I started Surftronica. Dancing, Summer, Beaches, Memories, Growth. Let’s Get it!
